Description
Local organic outdoor grow of famous OG Kush.
OG Kush, also known as “Premium OG Kush,” was reportedly grown in Florida in the early 1990s. According to legend, a marijuana strain originating in Northern California was allegedly crossed with Chemdawg, Lemon Thai, and a Hindu Kush plant imported from Amsterdam. This produced the OG Kush strain. The end product was a hybrid strain that had an original terpene profile and boasted a rich scent that included hints of gasoline, skunk, and spice. The term “Original Gangster,” which is abbreviated as “OG,” is often used to indicate the genuineness or potency of a cannabis strain. The aroma of OG Kush should be described as lemon-pine-fuel, and its effects should be both cerebral and physical. As a means of relieving tension, it is often consumed in the second part of the day.
In 1996, cannabis breeder Matt “Bubba” Berger brought OG Kush from Florida to the legendary cultivator Josh D. in Los Angeles. “The Bubba,” which was later used to create the famous Bubba Kush, was also brought by Berger at the same time. OG Kush is considered the genetic backbone of cannabis strains grown on the West Coast. Since that time, OG Kush has become a ubiquitous strain that is employed in the production of a broad variety of well-known strains, including GSC and Headband. There are numerous distinct phenotypes of OG Kush cannabis, such as Tahoe OG, SFV OG, and Ghost OG, each with their own unique characteristics.
